Scuba Diver
Thinking of getting certified for an upcoming holiday, but don't have the time to take a regular diver course? There’s a quick and easy program designed especially for you! The PADI Scuba Diver program is a pre-entry level certification, which is perfect for people on holiday or who only plan to dive a couple times a year.
The PADI Scuba Diver rating allows you to get certified quickly and easily by minimising time constraints. With the PADI Scuba Diver certification, you can dive to a maximum depth of 12 m under the direct supervision of a PADI Divemaster or higher professional on your next holiday or dive trip. This program is a wonderful opportunity to explore the underwater world in comfort and safety, knowing you have an experienced guide with you at all times.

Open Water Diver
This is the first course available under PADI to achieve certification as an open water diver. It is the pre-requisite course for any further training. Armed with your Open Water Diver card, the diving world is your oyster as the certification will be recognised at dive centers around the globe.
The course is presented over 4 to 5 days and consists of academics, several confined water sessions and four open water dives. |

Knowledge of basic diving theory is covered by video/ DVD and instructor presentations, diving skills are developed in the pool and on the final 2 days of the course, you complete 4 training dives under the supervision of your instructor. These dives take place to a maximum depth of 18 m on the beautiful reefs of the Mediterranean.

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC Open Water Diver Exclusive
As a NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC DIVER, you join an elite group of explorers, adventurers and conservationists. The insight and training you gain during this program will broaden your awareness and take your diving skills to a new level. You'll learn to observe and explore like an underwater scientist.
Your experience begins with the PADI Open Water Diver program, enhanced with adventures unique to the National Geographic Diver program. You will learn to explore with detail, identify important underwater features and navigate with certainty. You will have the diving knowledge and practice to maneuver with poise along the reef ’s ecosystems.
- You’ll learn basic dive skills and safety information through the PADI Open Water Diver course.
- You’ll be introduced to worldwide dive environments and opportunities by interacting with the National Geographic Diver Almanac and DVD.
- You’ll learn to fine-tune your buoyancy to hover easily and maneuver carefully through delicate aquatic habitats.
- You’ll learn how to observe your surroundings in order to get the best experience from each dive. You’ll gain practical experience by gathering information and collecting images to create a visual representation of a dive site, detailing what you’ve discovered through your observations.
- You’ll improve your navigation skills and ability to find your way around underwater by using a compass as well as natural references.
- You’ll be introduced to a multitude of aquatic species and be able to identify local plants and animals.

Open Water Diver + Discover / Digital U/ W Photography Specialty HOT
This is the same course as described above with the difference that in addition you will get a theoretical and practical introduction in the Digital Underwater Photography. In dive 4 of your Open Water Diver course you will practise the new photo knowledge also under water. This program covers automatic photography without the use of artificial light. You will learn about the possibilities of a point-and-shoot camera, how to use manual white balance, ISO settings and colour correction filters.
After completion of your Open Water Divers course you can also do an additional dive to complete your Digital U/ W Photography Specialty. Then you will also learn how to use histograms, about some important features of file-formats, resolution, picture composition, sorting and organizing.

Open Water Diver & Discover Nitrox/ Nitrox Specialty
This is the same course as described above with the difference that theory module 4 + 5 will introduce also in the benefits and features of diving with Enriched Air NITROX and open water dive 4 will be done using NITROX. Together with your open water diver certification you gain in addition the Discover Enriched Air Nitrox certification. From now on you are allowed to dive to a maximum depth of 18 m using Enriched Air NITROX with a maximum content of 32 % oxygen.
After receiving your open water diver certification you could also do an additional fun dive and learn how to plan dives with NITROX. Then you could get your Enriched Air Diver certification and conduct future dives with any blend of NITROX up to 40 % oxygen. Age: from 15 years old, Duration: 4 - 5 days |

You are already PADI Scuba Diver and now want to achieve certification as a NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC Open Water Diver/ PADI Open Water Diver. The course is presented over 1 to 2 days and consists of theory, one confined water sessions and three/ two open water dives.
Knowledge of basic diving theory of chapters 4 and 5 are covered in home studies, by video/ DVD and instructor presentations. Diving skills will be refreshed and newly developed in the pool and on the final day of the course, you complete 3/ 2 training dives under the supervision of your instructor. These dives take place to a maximum depth of 18 m on the beautiful reefs of the Mediterranean.

Open Water Diver Referral + NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC Open Water Diver Referral Exclusive
IIf you've already completed the confined water and academic sections of the PADI Open Water Diver course at home, you can complete your open water training on the inviting reefs of the Mediterranean. In just two days you will do the 4/ 5 open water dives and gain full certification as a PADI Open Water Diver or as an exclusive NATIONAL GEOGRPAHIC Open Water Diver.
